Support us as we walk to end Alzheimer's!
Dear Friends and Family:
When I started fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association 15 years ago, we did not know that some day we would be reaching out for the very services that our Association provides. Although Alzheimer’s is a slow and painful disease and Dad remembers little, his spirits are good and he is happy to go to work each day at his beloved Rowley Spring. Still there is much needed to be done to help our loved ones cope with this devastating illness.
We are asking for your support in helping to raise money for our Memory Walk family team in honor of our Dad, Stan Bitel to support programs for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
This was written about our Dad in a local newspaper about 10 years ago when a Polish Children’s charity was honoring him for his many altruistic deeds.
“Stanley is proud of his Polish heritage, an entrepeneur, naval aviator, international spring manufacturer, wonderful husband and Father. Stan has done it all, seen it all, and lived it all, but he has time for charity and to remember his roots. His parents came to America seeking a better life for themselves and their children and it came true. Stanley is a great man.”
Let’s take Stan’s lead as a generous man who never says no to helping a friend or family member in need. Thank you for your kindness. Checks may be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association or log on to our website www.newportmemorywalk.kintera.org and look for Darlene Krammer or Camilla Russolino. You will not be forgotten.
Love, Cammy and Darlene
